Body for Life

So Brent and I have been doing really well so far. But my brother Ty asked us to check out the Body for Life lifestyle. I've been doing a lot of reading on it and I must say, I'm really impressed and believe that I will start the diet.

It's a simple diet really. There are a limited number of foods I can have but I'll get by. Especially if I get the cook book that goes with it. I'm still not up on the exercises and so I still have some reading to do. But get this....There is a FREE day on this diet. So I can eat good for 6 days and then pig out on the 7th day. Isn't that awesome? And most people see their results after 12 weeks. I know it sounds like one of those hollywood diets, but it's for real. My brother and his wife looked GREAT after they did it. So I have proof that it works.

After I finish the book then I'm going to go shopping and get started on it. I'm not sure if Brent wants to do it, but we'll see.

A few more testimonials on Body for Life: My brother Shane is on the program and has lost 25 lbs, Glade and Jessi have done it successfully. My sister-in-law Dawna made the recipes for the whole family for sunday dinners, and they are DELICIOUS! I know without a doubt that the program works wonders if you just follow it.

ok, so someone asked me the other day how much I've lost so far. I thought "since when? Because I've lost exactly ZERO pounds!" But I do walk at the mall two miles twice a week, and since gas is so expensive, I've been walking kids to school (two different schools) twice a day as well. So since no pounds have come off yet, her comment helped me realize that maybe my shape is shifting because of all the walking. So I'm going to keep it up until it gets too cold to walk to schools, and maybe my body will realize that it wants to be thinner in the meantime. I've also been trying to add more healthy foods to the mix, but need to cut out more of the bad as well. That should really help. I just need to make it click in my brain nand keep my hand out of the cookie jar. Good luck on your new lifestyle, too.
